This joints are a coupling designed to provide an efficient and economical mechanical joint for white PVC and AC sized pipes.
The Standard Gibault joint is designed to join/repair pipeline materials and fittings that are relatively inert, ie. Ductile Iron, Cast Grey Iron, Asbestos Cement. The sleeve length of the Standard Gibault joint sleeve is relative to the material it has been designed to join. When joining/repairing pipelines of different material it is strongly recommended that an Elongated or SWB Gibault joint be utilised.
