A PN25 ductile iron flange adaptor provides a mechanical transition from a plain-ended pipe to a flanged valve, pump, meter, fitting or pipeline component. It eliminates the need to weld or thread a flange onto the pipe end and can simplify installation in water transmission, pumping and industrial pipeline projects.
PN25 availability is model-specific. The adaptor body, gasket, fasteners, flange drilling, pipe material and actual pipe outside diameter must all be checked as one assembly. PN25 is a nominal pressure designation and should not be treated as confirmation that every size or configuration can operate at the same pressure under all temperatures and service conditions.
Solid supplies project-based ductile iron flange adaptors with options for ductile iron and other compatible pipe materials. Available configurations may include fusion-bonded epoxy, epoxy paint or Rilsan coating, EPDM or NBR sealing elements, and galvanized carbon-steel or stainless-steel fasteners, depending on the selected model.
For accurate selection, send the pipe material, measured outside diameter, flange drilling, design pressure, medium, operating temperature and required quantity.

The pipe outside diameter is especially important. Two pipes with the same nominal DN may have different outside diameters because of material or regional standards. The sealing range of the selected adaptor must fully cover the actual pipe OD

Final suitability depends on the selected product model, pipe support arrangement, medium, temperature and project specification.
A conventional mechanical flange adaptor creates a sealed connection, but it should not automatically be considered resistant to axial pullout.
Where pressure thrust, an unanchored pipe end, PE pipe movement or a change in pipeline direction can generate axial forces, the engineer should specify a verified restrained flange adaptor or an external anchoring system. The restraint rating must be checked separately from the pressure rating.
For PE and some thin-wall plastic pipes, an internal support insert may also be required to prevent excessive pipe deformation under gasket compression.
